  [EUROSCREEN21. Projections]

Verein Medienturm
Großmarktstraße 8b, A-8020 Graz

CONCEPT: Judith Nothnagel
The title EUROSCREEN21 stands for an experiment involving about forty artists from the cartographic Europe, all debating questions of the intensivation of bilateral relations and different approaches towards the understanding of "home". In the limelight is the discussion of different designs of a - possible common - European identity. Via the mediation of the project manager Judith Nothnagel, the artists communicate within an electronic network in a first phase and online discuss the prepared topic. As the discussion quickly makes clear that beyond language barriers, comprehensive image- and sound material promotes manifold art- and communication approaches, finally short videos of all artists are presented.
