Carrying on the international success “Pop Loops for Breakfast“, Bernhard Fleischmann introduces, with the current release SIDONIE, another well-made instance of a crossover between Pop and electronic music. Catchy themes that are in line with quiet melancholy are central in the compositions. Beside a classic song pattern, well-composed interferences are equally indispensable as melodies that follow in quick
successions.
Fleischmann’s tracks are supported by comforting basses, which are overlapped by groaning noise and soft tones. A partial noise is not experienced as alien sound, each sound merges in the next one. The pattern of meshing harmonies shall close the eyes and open the ears. Fleischmann establishes soft sound carpets for “Roter Salon” (“Red Saloon”) that was conceived on site.
